Nishan's passion for the outdoors began after college when he joined his family's adventure sports business. This experience allowed him to raft and kayak many of Nepal's pristine rivers, rock climb, and trek in the majestic mountains of Nepal. With nearly 8 years of experience, Nishan has honed his skills through his work with Initiative Outdoor and Ultimate Descents Nepal.
Deeply passionate about his country and culture, Nishan loves exploring Nepal and sharing its natural beauty with others. He is a climber, paddler, photographer, and outdoor educator. His commitment to environmental conservation led him to work with the Nepal River Conservation Trust to protect Nepal's rivers.
Nishan holds various certifications, including Wilderness First Responder (WFR) with BLS/AED, White Water Technician Pro (WRTP), and Advanced River Rescue. His achievements in the field include being the South Asian Whitewater Kayak Champion in 2022.
