The course is designed specifically for Cable Car Station Rescue Teams who provides their clients with the knowledge and techniques that will be needed to operate safely and effectively in rescue and evacuation operations from a cable car gondolas at their sites.

CLASSROOM SESSIONS

  • Introduction to Work at height Industry
  • Recognizing the hazards when operating at height.
  • Concepts regarding risk, harm, prevention and protection
  • Incident Command System (ICS)
  • Personal Protective equipment (PPE)
  • Fall Factor
  • Basic PPE Inspection & Maintenance procedure

 

PRACTICAL SESSIONS

  • Introduction to different systems – Access, Anchor base, Differents type of PPE equipment wearing safety.
  • PPE standards, uses & limitations
  • Safe Access method to the Tower station
  • Transfer technique to Cabin from station
  • Hazards and risks associated while raising/lowering systems.
  • Lowering from Cabin Or Chair
  • Belay Techniques (injured or unconscious persons and long-distance lowering)

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) :Harness, Helmet, Lanyard, Gloves, Close Toe Shoes & Comfortable clothing for practical sessions.
