Beautiful villages and gorgeous scenery around Manaslu create this best among the classic trekking adventures within the Nepal Himalayas. Travelling through Gorkha and Arughat to the south of Manaslu, the trek ascends to the spectacular gorge of the Budi Gandaki passing through small villages and steep valley sides.

Attraction of the Trek:

The trek consists of all elements of Himalayan treks including Hindu and Buddhist culture, flora and fauna, Himalayan rivers and a stunning mountain vista. Few trekkers are seen in this region in comparison to other treks in the Annapurna and the Khumbu Regions.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Arughat (820 m.) and further drive to Soti Khola – 6 hours

Day 2: Soti Khola to Maccha Khola (850 m.) – 6 hours walk
Day 3: Maccha Khola to Jagat (1380 m.) – 6 hours 30 mins walk
Day 4: Jagat to Deng (1885 m.) – 6 hours 30 mins walk
Day 5: Deng to Ghap (2123 m.) – 5 hours walk
Day 6: Ghap to Li (2946 m.) – 5.30 hours walk
{Day 7: Li to Lho (3154 m.) via Hinang Glacier (3515 m.) – 10 hours walk – Acclimitization}
Day 8: Lho to Sama Gaon (3515 m.) – 6 hours walk
Day 9: Sama Gaon to Manaslu Base Camp (5200 m.) to Sama Gaon – 8 hours walk

Day 10: Sama Gaon to Samdho (3863 m.) – 3 hours walk
Day 11: Samdho to Dharmasala (4496 m.) – 3 hours 30 mins walk
Day 12: Dharmasala to Larke Pass to Bhimthang (3620 m.) – 10 hours walk
Day 13: Bhimthang to Tilije (2281 m.) – 6 hours 15 mins walk

Day 14: Tilche to Syange (1130 m.) – 8 hours 15 mins walk
Day 15: Sange to Besi Sahar and drive to Kathmandu
