Trek starts by an overland journey to Syabru Besi. The next three days consist of hiking through this beautiful alpine valley to Kyangjing Gompa followed by a day’s rest and exploration of the high mountains and glaciers. Trek for four days before a journey to the sacred lakes of Gosainkunda – a key pilgrimage sight for both Hindus and Buddhists.

Attraction of the Trek:

The trek passes through beautiful forests, Rhododendron trails and villages en route. It is famous for an unparalleled combination of natural beauty and cultural heritage.

Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi (1450 m.) by local bus (Approx. 8 hours drive)
Day 2: Trek to Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel (2480 m.) – approx. 6 to 7 hours walk
Day 3: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3541 m.) – approx. 5 to 6 hours walk
Day 4: Langtang Village to  Kyangjing Gompa (3900 m.) – approx. 3 hours walk
Day 5: Day hike and back to Kyangjing Gompa
Day 6: Kyangjing Gompa to Ghora Tabela (2950 m.) – approx. 4 to 5 hours walk
Day 7: Ghora Tabela to Bamboo (1980 m.) – approx. 4 to 5 hours walk
Day 8: Bamboo to Sing Gompa (3584 m.) – approx. 6 to 7 hours walk
Day 9: Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda (4381 m.) – approx. 5 to 6 hours walk
Day 10: Gosaikunda to Ghopte (3430 m.) – approx. 6 to 7 hours walk
Day 11: Ghopte to Kutumsang (2471 m.)– approx. 6 hours walk
Day 12: Kutumsang to Chisapani (2194 m.)– approx. 6 to 7 hours walk
Day 13: Chisapani to Sundarijal (approx. 3 hours walk) and drive to Kathmandu
