Himalayan sights:

With a landscape broken into deep gorges and glacial valleys, during the trek you will see breathtaking views of Mt. Everest along with Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Nuptse, Pumari, Thamserku, Amadablam. The trekking area is in Sagarmatha National Park.

Attraction of the Trek:

The region is covered by Pine, Hemlock, Fir, Juniper, Birch, Rhododendron. It is the home of the Himalayan Tahr, Ghoral, Serow and Musk Deer. Common birds are the Impeyan, Pheasant, Blood Pheasant, Red-Billed Cough and the Yellow-Billed Cough.

Itinerary

Day 1:  Kathmandu to Lukla by flight

Day 2:  Trek from Lukla to Phakding
Day 3: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m. and approx 5 hours walk)
Day 4: Rest at Namche Bazaar and walk for an early morning view of Mt. Everest
Day 5: Trek from Namche Bazaar  to Tyangboche (3860 m. and approx. 4 hours walk)
Day 6: Trek from Tyangboche to Dingboche (4410 m. and approx. 5 hours walk)
Day 7: Rest at Dingboche or short hike to Chhkuhung (4730 m.)

Day 8: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4910 m. and approx. 5 hours walk)
Day 9: Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp (5364 m) to Gorakshep (5140 m. and approx 8 hrs walk)
Day 10: Trek from Gorakshep to Kalapather (5545 m.) and to Pheriche (4240m. and approx 7 hours walk)
Day 11: Trek from Pheriche to Phortse (3810 m. and approx 5 hours walk)
Day 12: Trek from Phortse to Namche Bazaar (3440 m. and approx 5 hours walk)
Day 13: Trek from Namche to Phakding (2610 m. and  approx 5 hours walk)
Day 14: Trek from Phakding to Lukla (2840 m. and approx 4 hours walk)
Day 15: Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla
