The Annapurna Circuit is famous for splendid forests, amazing waterfalls and majestic cliffs. Key attractions of the Annapurna Circuit are Manang and Muktinanth which is a famous Hindu pilgrimage site along with the deepest river gorge in the world, the Kali Gandaki.

Attraction of the Trek:

Thorong-la Pass (5,416 meters) is the highest point of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. Places covered include Khudi, Chame, Dharapani, Pisang, Manang, Thorong Phedi, Thorong-La Pass, Muktinath, Marpha, Lete, Tatopani, Ghorepani, Birethanti and Pokhara.

Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu to Besi Sahar (790 m.)

Day 2: Drive from Besi Sahar to Chamge and trek to Tal (1800 m.)

Day 3: Tal to Danakyu (2,210 m.)

Day 4: Danakyu to Chame (2700 m.)

Day 5: Chame to Pisang (3200 m.)

Day 6: Pisang to Manang (3400 m.)

Day 7: Acclimitization in Manang

Day 8: Manang to Yak Kharka (4020 m.)

Day 9: Yak Kharka to Thorong-La Phedi (4500 m.) / High Camp

Day 10: High Camp to Muktinath (3810 m.) via Thorong-La Pass (5410 m.)

Day 11: Muktinath to Kagbeni (2800 m.)

Day 12: Kagbeni to Ghasa (2000 m.)

Day 13: Ghasa to Tatopani (1100 m.)

Day 14: Tatopani to Pokhara by bus

Day 15: Back to Kathmandu
